Sub: Anna University Public Holiday & General Elections Due to Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly 2021 & Bye-Election to Lok Sabha from 39 Kanniyakumari Parliamentary Constituency – Declared the holiday on 06.04.2021 as Public Holiday

Anna University Affiliated & Constructed Colleges remain Closed on 6th April 2020:

In the G.O, cited, the Government of Tamil Nadu have declared Tuesday, the 6th April 2021 as Public Holiday for the General Election to Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, 2021 & Bye-Election to Lok Sabha from 39 Kanniyakumari Parliamentary Constituency will take place in Tamil Nadu, under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act 1881 (Central Act XXVI of 1881).

Accordingly, it is declared as a holiday to Anna University, Regional Campuses and Constituent Colleges, Affiliated Autonomous and Affiliated Non-Autonomous colleges of Anna University on 06.04.2021(Tuesday).
