AICTE Send email to Anna University about conducting Arrears Exams – its Fack

This is what the letter says:

It’s surprising that final year degree students, who had failed in various courses in the earlier semesters are being passed without conducting examinations. This is not acceptable to award marks without conducting any examination and graduating the students. Such students will not be recognized by industry or by other universities for higher education. AICTE will be constrained to withdraw the approval of Anna University.</[email protected]></[email protected]>

It this email fake or real?

No Email has been sent by AICTE till now. A fake email has been circulating in the media which said that arrear exams cannot be cancelled by TN govt and Anna univ. More updates soon !!

Major news channels have covered this incident. But now Education Minister of Tamil Nadu has denied it and says that no such letter has been received. They have also said that Anna University is following the rules and guidelines of AICTE but doesn’t have to take directions from them.
