Andhra Pradesh Government has decided to do away with annual examinations for the students of class 6th to class 9th in view of coronavirus threat and lockdown.

AP Students Of Classes 1st – 9th To Be Promoted To The Next Without Examination:

All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State are informed that as a precautionary measure to counter the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) the State of Andhra Pradesh has been under lockdown for 21 days i.e from 25.03.2020 to 14.04.2020 and it is not feasible to conduct Annual Examinations (Summative Assessment II) for the Students of Classes VI to IX.

Therefore, it is decided to cancel the Summative Assessment II Examinations for Classes VI to IX and declare the students of Classes VI to IX as “ALL PASS“
