APPSC Group II Recruitment 2018 – 337 Asst. Section Officer & Excise Sub-Inspector Jobs Notification:

A total number of vacancies to be filled by APPSC Group 2 Notification 2018  is 337 Posts:

APPSC Group 2 Exam Pattern:

In step-1 of selection procedure starts with Written Examination. The Exam pattern has three papers with 150 questions in each paper carrying 150 marks. In first paper questions from General Studies are asked while second paper deals with Polity and History and Paper three will be basically on Economy of India and Andhra Pradesh.

APPSC Group 2 Eligibility Criteria:

Non- Executive Posts:

1.  Assistant Section Officer (Secretariat Sub-Service)

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from any University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act or recognized by the U.G.C. or an equivalent qualification.

Age Limit: 18-36 Years

Pay Scale: Rs.12910-36700

2. Assistant Section Officer(Finance Sub-Service)

Remaining Details all are same as Assistant Section Officer (Secretariat Sub-Service).

3. Senior Accountant

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from any University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act or recognized by the U.G.C. or an equivalent qualification.

Age Limit: 18-36 Years

Pay Scale: Rs. 10900-31550

4. Senior Auditor 

Remaining Details all are same as Senior Accountant.

5. Junior Assistants:

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from any University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act or recognized by the U.G.C. or an equivalent qualification.

Age Limit: 18-36 Years.

Pay Scale: Rs. 8440-24,950

6. Junior Assistants in Civil Supplies:

7. Junior Assistants in Commission of Technical Education

Education Qualification:

1) Must hold a Degree in Commerce or Economics or Mathematics of any University recognized by the U.G.C. Provided that a person who possesses any Degree of any University in India shall also be eligible for appointment by direct recruitment on and from 25th June 1979 Pass in any one of the following

Certificate Course Examinations conducted by the Board of Technical Education and Training, A.P. Hyderabad.

5. Municipal Commissioner Grade-3:

Relaxations:

  • SC/ST and BC Candidates get 5 years of age relaxation.
  • Physically Handicapped (PH) Candidates are entitled to 10 years of age relaxation.
  • Ex-servicemen will be given 3 years of age relaxation.
  • For National Cadet Corps (NCC) there will be 3 years of age relaxation.
  • Five years of age relaxation is for A.P. State Government Employees (Employees of Andhra Pradesh State Electricity Board (APSEB), Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), Corporations, Municipalities etc. are not eligible).
  • Retrenched temporary employees having a minimum of 6 months service, in the State Census Department will be given 3 years age relaxation.
